Huge London Haul

London is the epitome of shopping heaven. I think in all honesty it was probably the thing I was most excited about …Don't judge! I'm always so jealous if I see a cool haul on some youtube channel talking about UK brands/stores so I went on quite a splurge while I was there. But most of my stuff I bought in Primark which may justify the amount of clothing I bought. So to sum up my shopping experience, I was just overwhelmed with the amount of stores they have only on Oxford Street. I think it would take days to visit every single store. And also the variety they have all the stores that I love; Urban Outfitters, Monki, Topshop and the list goes on. I also went to &other stories which seemed like a pretty cool store unfortunately I didn't bought anything because we had to be careful with not overweighing our luggage otherwise I would have totally had a second look. So hopefully &other stories will come to munich one day. But until then here is what I bought in London:

Outerwear from left to right: Vintage Levi's jacket, black blazer-Monki, white blazer-Primark

Red Dress-Urban Outfitters, Rest-Primark

London-last part

The last and final part of my London adventure! In a nutshell we spent the last two days eating well and spending the last pounds that I hadn't spend. We explored Camden which was so much fun, I just loved the vibe there it was so individual and creative. And there were about a million things to buy. One of my favorite experiences from Camden was probably this huge techno store and it was so strange but so much fun to experience! So if anyone of you visit London definitely check it out!
It was really good that we saw everything very early so we could have the last two days to really experience everything and just be very chilled and relaxed.

We went to this really cool restaurant called 'the big chilled house', it was just around our hotel, we have walked pass it every time we had to take the tube and it just looked very appealing with it's interior decor

Having a proper english breakfast-to be honest it was a little bit to greasy and meaty in my opinion but I gotta try everything once, right?!

In the afternoon we went to Camden!

One thing on my list to do whilst I'm in London was to have a red velvet cupcake and it was just about the penultimate day till I finally had one. This was a lovely little stand in Camden and the Cupcake was so good!

I'm really gonna miss those little foods stands! It was so cool to have the variety of so many different cuisine

Fish and chips from Poppys-this was right after I had the english breakfast and the cupcake. So as you could imagine although it was really yummy I could barely finish it!

Beautiful carvings in a building

The last day-in front of the London eye

The view form the London eye-it was nice change to see London from the bird perspective

Our last meal in London was Nando's- of course I had to take a visit, I heard so many good things and it was really delicious, I had a chicken wrap, corn and coleslaw

Goodbye London-It was lovely! Hope to see you soon!

London-National Gallery, Big Ben, Westminster, Buckingham Palace

30.03.2014-We had quite a fun day that day. So the first thing on our list was the National Gallery, unfortunately I couldn't take any photos in there but anyways it was really nice and they had a lot of lovely paintings in there. I totally fell in love with a painting of a bridge by Monet. We spent the whole morning in the museum and for lunch we went to a very nice restaurant near our hotel called 'Canal' and had a proper delicious sunday roast! Because we still had a lot of time left we decided to go to Westminster again because the first time I couldn't take any photos because of my camera dilemma. It was really fun to be total touristy and posing in front of all the famous buildings…I may have danced really embarrassingly/funny in front of the buckingham palace ^.^

Outfit twinsies- we had this situation quite often, similar shoes, jacket, bag...
The first stop of that day-the National Gallery

Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Portobello Market

On Saturday the 29 of march we planned to go to the Hyde Park and have a little picnic. The weather that day was so lovely you could feel and see the spring arriving in London! The morning we spent strolling around the huge Hyde Park. The park has so many nice buildings and sights and just strolling in the park was already very much enjoyable! In the afternoon we drove to Notting Hill and walked trough Chelsea and Kensington all the way to Portobello Road. Luckily it was saturday so the road was packed with tons of small stands selling all kinds of things. I think the Portobello Road Market was one of my favorite things, I loved the vibrant atmosphere, the different food stands and all of the little nooks and crannies you could find at those stands. Also I made such an good find on a vintage Levi's Jacket. If we knew early and had more space in our suitcase, we could have gone a bit mental there. They had so many lovely vintage pieces-some even just for 1£! I will definitely keep that in mind for the next trip to London!
My friend and our little picnic ensemble

beautiful magnolia!

This was such an interesting monument- the albert memorial, on each corner were large sculptures representing the four 'main' continents; Asia, America, Europe and Africa

Royal Albert Hall was directly opposite the Albert Memorial-both of them are very opulent buildings

The last stop of the day was the infamous Harrods. It was packed with tourist and it wasn't the greatest thing in London but it's such a compulsory sight so we had to go!

Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Tate Modern and Young Kato

27.04.14- Like everyday we had a lot we wanted to see. So the first stop was the Tower Bridge and all of the buildings around it like the City Hall. The next destination was the Tower of London, walking next to it made me think of all the historical movies I saw like 'The other Boleyn Girl' or 'The Tudors'. It was really cool to think of all the stories that were left behind those walls. After that we walked a little bit next to the Themes and shortly took the tube to the Globe Theatre from where we headed to the Tate Modern. My friend studies art history that is why she was super eager to go to the museum, at first we thought it would take us ages to look trough the whole museum because it looked massive from the outside. But the actual gallery wasn't as big as we thought. It was a really nice change from all the sightseeing to see some famous artists and their art.The last stop for the day was the St.Paul's Cathedral (it is massive). So that sums up the day-Cheerios!
Me in front of the Tower bridge-sorry for the squinting facial expression, I forgot to bring my sunglasses and the sun was blending

St.Paul's Cathedral

We stopped at this little cafe right next to the St.Paul's Cathedral- the atmosphere was really parisian

Coffee and delicious carrot cake!

The front side of the St.Paul's Cathedral

We went to see Young Kato in the Garage in the evening, it was a really spontaneous decision but so worth it. It was a rather small and intimate atmosphere and they really knew how to motivate the whole club. During their show they had huge balloons and confetti flying around the air. After the gig  the frontman of the band, Tommy even came to talk to the crowd and I even took a very(!) blurry photo and chatted a bit with him. He was super nice and very down to earth.

So this is the song that made me interested in Young Kato, I heard it once on Made in Chelsea and totally fell in love. It is such an energetic and fun song! Hope you enjoy it!
