Children's Day

On the first day of June it was international children's day so my cousins family and I took a trip to the local theme park/ zoo. It was a pretty crowded place but still it was a nice day, I felt like a child again. I saw animals, ate cotton candy, had bubbles, ice cream and took some rides :) It was a nice family trip, sometimes you just have to let your inner child get through to escape the heavy grown up world ^.^

Korean (Beauty) Haul

Before I went to Korea I was asking a lot of my korean friends here what I should get during my stay. They all said beauty products, no wonder because Korea is such a beauty obsessed country. In the Skincare world, South Korea has become the new France, they're about 12 years ahead of the States in terms of technology. Every 5 seconds I saw some kind of beauty store around the corner so there was no possibility of avoiding them. These days I've been obsessed with the korean beauty. I really like the natural healthy look of the korean girls. The packaging is also a cute plus. So before I went I did a lot of research on the internet and here are the products that I bought:

Skincare products:  Volcanic Clay Nosepack (TheFaceShop), Laneige Water Sleeping Pack, Innisfree Jejubija anti-trouble lotion,  Safe Block waterproof sun 50+/ Safe Block aqua sun gel 30 (Missha)

Make up products:  High Lighter beam (TheFaceShop), 5x Lip tints (Nature Republic), Nail Vita top coat (Skinfood), Botanical Vanilla Face powder (Nature Republic), Eyebrow pencil (TheFaceShop), Pretty Tree Auto Lipliner 2; Botanical Vanilla Stick Concealer 23; Botanical Lipstick 3&4 (Nature Republic), Precious Mineral BB cream (Etude House), Lime Secret Multi Pact (Skinfood)

Brush (Innisfree), Soothing Gel (Nature Repbulic), Be my Princess perfume (Etude House), Facecloth (Missha), Eyelashes (Daiso)

Miscellaneous: Korean Vogue, Samgak Kimbap forms; Spices; Highlighter pens (Daiso), Luggage Tag (Seoul Tower), BAP album (Gift)

Busan: Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

I went to see the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple on my last day in Busan. It was kinda hard to find first and I had to take the subway and the bus to get there. Although the temple itself is really pretty I just wasn't feeling so comfortable because of the massive amount of people visiting the temple. The Buddhist temple is situated on top of a large rock along the ocean, so definitely a unique sight in Korea.
After that I met up with my lovely friend who spoiled me on my last dinner in Korea. We had so much delicious food we could barley finish it! Before going to the train station I did some last minute shopping which I will show in my next post.
In conclusion Korea was so much fun, I met so many lovely new and old friends! The culture, the food  and the people are truly incredible. I do really miss Korea and I would love to go back some time!
감사합니다!!

very pretty statues/chairs

I loved the carving on the stones- korean is such an interesting language

Busan: Beach day

The third day was a filled with me visiting the different beaches in Busan. I was really impressed how clean and beautiful they were. The first beach that I went to was Gwangalli  Beach, next stop was the Nurimaru APEC House and last but not least I went to Haeundae Beach, where I met my friend. We had delicious ice-cream and just walked along Haeundae Beach and listened to the numerous bands that played there.

I could have uploaded tones of picture only of the sea, the water has such an amazing color, it fascinates me every time

Busan day 2

Second day in Busan, this day I was totally on my own. Although I did a lot of research, the first stop was quiet a disappointment, nobody could speak english and I kinda got lost but anyways I found my way to Beomeosa Temple. It was pretty crowded that day so I decided to hike a little bit on my own. It is quiet a large complex but still very atmospheric. In the afternoon I went to Yongdusan Park and the Busan Tower, luckily I went on the days were they celebrated Buddha's birthday, so I saw a lot of festive decorations there. I'm not sure why but that day I was highly motivated therefore I walked tones... I went to Jagalchi Market, the Ferry terminal and to the Namhang bridge.

They usually had colorful lanterns, these look very clean and crisp

Amazing view after a long hike!

This scenary looks so idyllic but I couldn't stay that long because the place was packed. An immense amount of people came for Buddha's birthday celebration

Busan: first day

I arrived in Busan early in the morning, my friends picked me up and we headed straight to the hotel. After a quick break and me changing into something else, we started the sightseeing. First stop; Jungang Park after that Gukje Market, Jagalchi Fish Market and last Yeongdo Island. It was a lot of walking for one day but I really enjoyed the company of my friends and it was such a big help to have them with me because a lot of things weren't as easy to access as in Seoul.

We took a bus to the hill and walked the stairs, from the hill we had a pretty amazing view of Busan

Jungang Park with the War Memorial

Gukje Market with a lot of stands for some snacks

the Harbor

Jagalchi Fish Market- a giant fish market with all kinds of different lively seafood

 Our tickets to Yeongdo island

Yeongdo Island was probably my favorite of all the things I saw, seeing nature at its best beauty

trying to balance myself on the jolty stones

The 'suicidal' cliffs,  the color of the cliffs were so beautiful, just standing there and looking in to the sea was amazing!

The cliffs were so mesmerizing and scary at the same time
