Inspiration

I could spent hours and hours just looking through weheartit or tumblr. I'm always searching for new inspiration and to be honest I just love looking at pretty things. Soon I will be moving out to go to university that means I have a new opportunity to re-decorate a room. I always love to plan my future home. I used to be a really girly girl when it came to interior design, really pretty and kinda shabby chic. But these days I've been drawn to lets call it a more exotic/arabic/hippy kind of home decor. Don't get me wrong I still very much enjoy my girly vibe and I wouldn't dare to call any of the following pictures masculine. Let's just call them a more grown up feminine style with a nice twist. Here are a few picture that I found. Hope you enjoy it!

Holi Festival of Colours

Last saturday I went to a festival called Holi Colour, this year it has been really popular here in Germany there has been a numerous series of these kind of festivals. It is based on the traditional Hindu spring festival where people throw coloured powder at each other. Originally it was supposed to celebrate the beginning of a new season, good harvest and fertile land. But here in Germany  they combined this tradition with music acts and just general celebration.
Sorry for the bad quality of these photos. I didn't want to bring my camera because I was scared that my camera would be awfully dirty. And I'm telling you when we left, everything was covered in the powder so I'm glad I didn't take it with me. Overall it was a nice day, it was really impressive to see all the colour in the air and people celebrating. My Highlight was definitely Klangkarussell, they are an austrian Dj duo and it was 100% my cup of tea when it comes to music.

Me and my friends all covered with colour

Me in front of the crowd, they threw the powder about every hour

I will learn to love the skies

Last tuesday I visited a friend of mine, he lives in a different village than I do and it is know to be a resort, so the ideal place to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. First we had some lovely cake and coffee after that we decided to hike a little bit and enjoy the view from above.
It was so beautiful to see the forest and enjoy the silence. I could really perceive why it is such a popular place to escape from all the city noises. I think I would have loved it if I grew up in the country side and I do regret spending so little time outside these days.

Primark Haul

Last tuesday I went to Frankfurt to pick up my aunts from the airport. Before picking them up I made a detour to Primark. The cool thing about Frankfurt is that it has two Primarks. And the one in the city isn't even that far away from the airport. Lucky me.
I don't know what it is about Primark but it always makes me super excited to go. Also I'm very scared that I will miss out on some bargains therefore I spent about two hours in Primark just wandering around looking at every rack that have.
