How to: Couscous Salad

I really want to keep this blog alive and I luckily I found some pictures that I took recently on how to make Couscous salad. Most of my friends know that cooking is one of my biggest hobbies. I love the idea of a delicious meal and the only way for me to achieve that is to recreate it myself. My main focus is to have tasty dishes and if it's healthy simultaneously, even better! Couscous is a perfect dish for people on a diet because a salad like this does stuff you but it only contains a very little amount of calories. You can eat this salad on its own or have it as a delicious side dish. Let's begin:

Ingredients: 150 gr. Couscous, 200 ml Vegetable stock, 5-6 small tomatoes, half a avocado, 1/2 a lemon, red and yellow bell pepper, 2-3 gloves of garlic, mint, chives, salt & pepper, 1 tbsp. honey and 2-3 tbsp. olive oil

Step 1: Stir the vegetable stock into the couscous, cover it up and let it stand 10 minutes till the stock is absorbed

Step 2: Wash and then chop up all the vegetables into small pieces

Step 3: Fluff the couscous now with a fork and then mix the lemon juice, the honey, salt, pepper and oil into it

Step 4: Combine the chopped vegetables into the couscous give it nice mingle. There you have it!

Easy as that, bon appetite!

Pinakothek

From nowhere to somewhere - I'm really sorry for the lack of blogpost. Currently I don't have any access for good quality pictures because my camera is back at my old home.
Anyways what have I been up to these days? University started - a new big chapter in my life. New people to meet, new experiences to make and new stuff to learn (about me and of course things about my studies). This first week felt a little bit weird, everything is kinda strange and new. University is definitely a whole different thing from school or university in China. You have so many students in one lecture and it can get so noisy so quickly. It is kinda new to me that you are just a student out of a whole bunch of others and your lecturer probably won't ever get to know you. In my previous school education I was used to having a good or bad relationship with my teacher but never have I experience such an anonymity. Everything was much more familiar. And now you are one out of hundreds. But I just have to get used to it.
To something a little bit more cheerful, it was my birthday last saturday! Yayy! 20 years old not a teenager anymore. I must admit it is weird having a 2 in front of your age but that won't keep me to live my inner child. One of my best friends came to visit for the weekend. It was literally so much fun, we went clubbing on friday, did a little bit of shopping on saturday, watched a movie and went to the museum on sunday. It was such a nice weekend, not only to spend time with someone you are close with but also the things we did were a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from our trip to the museum:

Probably my favorite picture in the whole museum-Claude Monet
