Galway

On the fourth day of our journey we woke up early and took the bus to Galway, a city in the West of Ireland. After a 3 hour bus ride we arrived in the small but very charming university city. The women working in the tourist center was really nice and suggested us seeing some of the famous spots in Galway. We started with the main street-High street and walked our way to the Spanish Arch, the Museum of Galway and to the Galway Cathedral. After our lunch break we headed to the beach and had a nice little walk. We ended the day with a premiere for both me and my friend- a stand-up comedy show. Which was an awesome alternative to your normal night out.

The busy and colorful High Street

The museum was super interesting made- it had history aspects of the town but also local and foreign exhibitions

In every city that we have been in Ireland there was always a river crossing our way

Beautiful glass paintings in the Galway Cathedral

The high ceilings in the Cathedral were really impressive

Of course while being at the seaside you have to have some fish and chips- yummy!

One of my all time favorite things to do is to walk at the beach barefoot

I really envy those people who can live just by the sea

We found this very charming tea house where we had our tea time!

Sophie and me with the very charming Wilde brothers

Irelands smallest Comedy Club- great comedians, great fish and chips, great musician and a great end to our day in Galway!
