Dublin Part 2

First stop of the day was Trinity College, where we walked through the beautiful campus. I wished that there would be more universities in Germany that have a whole campus system where everything is at one spot. The second thing we wanted to see was the National Gallery of Ireland, which was rather small but had some really nice gems included. After that we walked to the St. Stephen's Green, a park where loads of people were enjoying the sun.
The day was filled with visiting more than five churches which included St.Patricks Cathedral, Christ Church, St. Audeon's and some lesser know ones that we spontaneously passed by. We ended the day with a very fun Pub Crawl where we were able to get to know other people from all over the world and listen to their stories of why they came to Dublin.

Always enjoying a painting of Monet

Pablo Picasso

St.Stephen's Green

Surprisingly the weather was marvelous the whole week that we spent in Ireland. Here we are lying on the grass enjoying the sun and having a little rest from all the walking

Molly Malone near Grafton street- a fictional person who is mentioned in one of the most famous folk songs in Dublin

Christ Church

Inside St. Audoen‘s Church- ruins of a cemetery

Quite surprising to find a Tim Hortons in Ireland-of course I had to snatch up a Chocolate Donoguht

St.Patricks Cathedral
