Cliffs of Moher & Doolin

This was by far the highlight of my Ireland journey. So we took the bus from Galway to this sleepy little village called Doolin where we booked one of the Glamping pots, which looks like a wooden igloo. I thought it was a very unique construction and the interior was very nice as well, another plus was that it is right on the camping site next to the ocean. It was by far the quietest night that we had during our whole journey!
So after we had settle our stuff we headed for our 2 hour long hike to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. Although we mostly headed upwards it didn't feel tiring at all because the scenery was just so utterly beautiful that you would totally forget all the physical exhaustion that you might could've had. Either way you looked everything was so picturesque I could've stayed there for hours. When we arrived at the top the actual Cliffs were so overwhelming, I remember just looking at them and being in complete awe. I hope the photos will be able to at least show a small sight of the immense beauty the Cliffs have to offer. And to all the other people that might want to visit Ireland I can only recommend doing the hike instead of the bus tour because it is so much more fulfilling!

Doolin with its few shops and pubs

The beginning of our hike- Doonagore Castle

We took a little break and just listened to the waves

Almost at the Top- had to take a photo with the irish flag

My heart beat a bit faster whilst sitting on the edge

We went to this little pub back in Doolin and the atmosphere was bursting just like I would've  imagined! People were drinking Guinness, singing and having a great time! I ordered Irish stew because I always want to try a bit of the local cuisine whilst I'm traveling

The Glamping pots

Bye bye Cliffs of Moher!
