We started our last official day in Dublin with a very enjoyable walking tour. Our tour guides name was Oisín which we later found out was named after the greatest poet of Irish mythology. I can highly recommend doing one of these tours whilst staying in Dublin, because although we saw most of the sights the day before we hadn't had a single clue about all the history behind it.

The gate across the Dublin Castle |
The ceiling in the City Hall |
O'Connell Street-where we did a little bit of shopping |
Phoenix Park with the Wellington Monument in the back |
We drove from O'Connell Street to the Phoenix Park where we stayed a while and later walked to the Guinness Storehouse
It felt like a whole Guinness District, everywhere we went we saw the gold Guinness logo on a black background-it made me realizes 'those Irish really like some Guinness' |
In the evening we walked along the River Liffey and saw all the different bridges and the beautiful night lights -my favorite was the Samuel Beckett Bridge which looked like a harp lying on its edge |
Thanks Dublin I had a splendid time, hope that you stay just the way you are!
