Last day of Lisbon!

So this was already the last day of my Portugal adventure. The schedule for the day looked like this: first stop the Design & Fashion Museum, later lunch at Cafe Royale and after that going with the ferry to Cristo Rei. Actually we wanted to have dinner at a very nice Tapas bar but got caught in a promotion event of a random sardines shop on our way. We met a couple of very nice people and spent the night drinking cocktails and eating sardines. A very unexpected and fortunate event! It was a perfect end to our little Lisbon vacation!

Even if you are not interested in fashion or contemporary design and you have a little spare time I would definitely suggest you going to the Design&Fashion Museum, it was really interesting to see all the different gowns and furniture they had on display and in addition the entry is free
in the basement they had this quite intriguing display of a variety of different models of sunglasses - a lot of metal and cool tones of the interior made the atmosphere kind of a creepy and spooky

On the second floor there was this exhibition of the famous portuguese costume designer António Lagarto and all his work for the ballet and theatre

Cafe Royal - very chilled atmosphere and the personal was really lovely, too...

...and of course delicious food!

We took the ferry to Almanda, which was quite different to Lisbon and then continued with a bus ride up to Cristo Rei, where we had a lovely view of Lisbon and the Ponte de 25 Abril which is quite similar looking to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco

Cristo Rei

I look quite irritated in this picture but I kind a like it
