So this was already the last day of my Portugal adventure. The schedule for the day looked like this: first stop the Design & Fashion Museum, later lunch at Cafe Royale and after that going with the ferry to Cristo Rei. Actually we wanted to have dinner at a very nice Tapas bar but got caught in a promotion event of a random sardines shop on our way. We met a couple of very nice people and spent the night drinking cocktails and eating sardines. A very unexpected and fortunate event! It was a perfect end to our little Lisbon vacation!

Even if you are not interested in fashion or contemporary design and you have a little spare time I would definitely suggest you going to the Design&Fashion Museum, it was really interesting to see all the different gowns and furniture they had on display and in addition the entry is free |
in the basement they had this quite intriguing display of a variety of different models of sunglasses - a lot of metal and cool tones of the interior made the atmosphere kind of a creepy and spooky |
On the second floor there was this exhibition of the famous portuguese costume designer António Lagarto and all his work for the ballet and theatre |
Cafe Royal - very chilled atmosphere and the personal was really lovely, too... |
...and of course delicious food! |
We took the ferry to Almanda, which was quite different to Lisbon and then continued with a bus ride up to Cristo Rei, where we had a lovely view of Lisbon and the Ponte de 25 Abril which is quite similar looking to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco |
